A filler treatment is appropriate when you:
- have deep or marked lines around the eyes, eyebrows or mouth
- Needs more volume in areas like cheek, jawline or lip
- Have an uneven nose that you wish to smooth out. (This treatment is only carried out by a doctor and during a consultation you will find out if the treatment is suitable for you.)
- Have scars or sunken areas caused by, for example, acne or other skin problems
Fillers are injected into different areas of the face using a fine needle.
The number of tricks, the placement and depth depends on the type of filler used and the result you want to achieve.

If a sensitive area of the face is treated and you have an increased tendency to bruise, it is good to be prepared for it to occur.
How long swelling, redness and possible bruises are in is very individual and depending on which area is treated. Within a couple of days up to a week, it should have subsided. When the lips are treated for the first time, a new treatment may be relevant within a month for a lasting result.
The first swelling after a lip treatment may linger longer. However, it is important to remember that the result immediately after the treatment should not be seen as the final result.
No training or massage on the same day and no tanning for 1 week otherwise you can return to your life as usual.
