Carboxytherapy can be done as a refreshing one-time treatment or as a course of about 4-10 treatments depending on what you are working with.

The increased oxygen content also improves fluid retention or edema in the area.

For a dermal effect that reduces fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks, the increased blood flow stimulates the production of collagen, which will soften fine wrinkles and reduce dark circles under the eyes. Collagen is stimulated long-term with more regularity, leading to a tightening effect.

Sagging skin and sagging jowls and necks are significantly improved. For fat reduction such as a double chin, heated gas is injected at a high volume deep into the fat, which then breaks up and stimulates new blood vessels and skin rejuvenation.

Carboxytherapy is performed by imbuing the skin with CO2 (carbon dioxide) just below the skin surface.

When the gas enters the tissue, you may feel a certain pressure for a couple of minutes.

There is a small risk of bruising when using Carboxytherapy. Usually, the eyelids can be treated without leaving any marks, making it a truly worry-free treatment.

Carboxytherapy should not be performed while pregnant, or in the event of illness, or at the same time as Botox treatments on the face.

Treatment cannot be performed if you have heart or vascular disease, high blood pressure, reduced lung capacity or breathing difficulties.

Nor in the case of kidney failure, epilepsy or active acne.
